She was a native of Hardin County, a devoted lifelong catholic, and was a Kentucky Colonel. Anna was a proud USCG wife, loving mother, and the best Ma-Maw.
Anna Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, W.K. "David" Nichols; a son, King Nichols, Jr.; three infant children; her parents, Thomas and Nannie Elizabeth Lewis; and her siblings, Stewart Lewis, Paul Lewis, Bobby Lewis and Mary Jane Vowels.
Left to cherish her memories include a daughter, Suzanne Nichols Baker (Owen); two grandsons, Ethan Baker (Amanda) and Austin King Nichols; three great- grandchildren, Levi and Lillian Baker and Christian Nichols and the loving community of StoryPoint Northfield Senior Living.
Services will be at 5 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
A private burial will be at a later date in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
