Barbara Doris Beard

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, going on walks, and listening to music on the radio. Barbara loved dogs and stuffed animals. Her cherished memories were traveling to Branson, Missouri with her husband, James.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Lee Beard; and her parents, Christian and Marie Harlan Altman.

Survivors include two sons, Brandon Beard of Elizabethtown and Leslie Beard of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Julie, and Jamie; and several great-grandchildren.

The funeral is Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation begins at 12 Noon and continues until the time of the service.
