She was born on September 25, 1940, to the late Louise Grimes and Henry Cox. Betty loved walking, reading, spending time at the beach, and caring for her beloved dog. Above all, she cherished her great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Brad Carden; her daughter, Pamela Reed; and her grandson, Nathan.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Bill Carden; her son, Jeffrey Carden (Mary Ann); her brother, Bobby Cox; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
