

Betty was creative and she loved anything that involved arts and crafts and design, making beautiful quilts, scrapbooks, and paintings. She loved dogs and raised several generations of Cocker Spaniels. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends at church and her clogging groups.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, George and Kathren Webster; a son-in-law, Donnie Poteet; and a great-grandson, Liam Poteet.
Betty is survived by two sons, David (Julia) Humphries and Edward (Stacey) Humphries; three daughters, Kathren (Barry) Creech, Dawn Poteet, and Kimberly (Josh) Combs; 13 grandchildren, Ben, Adam, Nate, Rachel, Emily, Jessica, Rebecca, Jonathan, Christopher, Hannah, Hillary, Eli, and Sam; 4 great-grandchildren, Carley, Levi, Becksleigh, and Maverick; and one niece, Donna Thorne.
Betty was cremated in accordance with her wishes. The family will hold a private memorial to scatter her ashes.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a local animal rescue shelter in lieu of flowers.
