

She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Southeast Christian Church where she was a member of their cancer support group. She worked for Ft. Knox Civil Service, her number one hobby was her grandsons and was an avid scrabble player.
Throughout her difficult battle with cancer, her Christian faith remained a constant source of strength, comfort and hope. Even in the face of pain and uncertainty, she trusted in God’s plan finding peace in his promises and courage for each new day. Her unwavering faith was an inspiration to family, friends, and all who had the privilege of walking alongside her.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Ella Stone; brothers, Asie Stone, Ronnie Stone and Jimmy Stone and sisters, Janice Stone Priddy and Valerie Stone Plymale.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 45 years, Patrick Flanagan; her children, Sean Flanagan (Nikki) and Brandi Flanagan Butler (Zack); two grandsons, Declan and Kian Flanagan who were her pride and joy; one brother, Percy Stone, Jr.; and sisters, Olive Jane Stone Larson (Robert) and Lora Stone and a sister-in-law, Martha Stone and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 28th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and again the following day, Wednesday 29th from 10:00am to 11:00am.
The funeral will be at Brown Funeral Home at 11:00am.
Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
