

He was born in Terre Haute, IN, was a member of Stephensburg Missionary Baptist Church. Brian sung in church, played the guitar and loved music. He was an avid Notre Dame and Cubs fan; loved John Deere tractors and golfing. Loved the Lord with all his heart and his church family. He was a devoted family man that worked really hard. He worked for Dow Corning for over 20 years. He also served as a Medic in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Edward and Shirley Ann Hayden Erickson.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Gwendalyn "Wendy" Stillwell Erickson; one son, Derrick (Erica) Erickson of New Albany; three daughters, Trish (Todd) Martin of Elizabethtown, Shahaley (Tim) Embry of Rineyville and Ashley (Rob) Comstock of Bloomington, IN; his dog Casper; two sisters-in-law, Angie Murphy and Velvett Miller; one brother-in-law, D. J. Stillwell; six grandchildren, Jasmyne, Kiara, Logan, Brayden, Jake and Lillian and one soon-to-be great grandson, Wyatt; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Stephensburg Missionary Baptist Church wit Pastor Ron Blair and Brother Doug Peters officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Big Clifty.
