

He was born on April 3, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Calvin Wilson Miller, Sr and Opal Jones Miller.
A retired Colonel in the U.S. Army, Calvin served with distinction and carried a lasting respect for the military throughout his life.
Above all else, Calvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In his personal time, Calvin found peace and satisfaction outdoors, especially in hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the VFW, valuing the fellowship of fellow veterans and the shared bond of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 39 years, Rita Fulkerson Miller; and one son, Robert Fletcher.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Greene (Greg) and Kelly Phillips (Billy); one son, Marty Carby (Melanie); one sister, Pat Hammock (Larry); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his special friends, Chuck Browder and Bob Rizzo.
The funeral is at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Pastor Johnnie Long officiating.
Burial follows at 1:30 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff.
Visitation begins at 9 AM on Wednesday and continues until the time of service at the funeral home.
