Charlene Wright

She was a native of Louisville and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Edna Miller Shofner and her sister, Joyce Wathen.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Wright of Elizabethtown; two sons, Martin (Jennifer) Wright of Elizabethtown and Kevin Wright of Louisville; three brothers, Steve Shofner, Butch Shofner, and Larry Shofner; one sister, Shirley Cox; eight grandchildren, Meghan, Kayla, Brianna, Brendan, Brooklyn, Brayden, Beckham, and Bentley; and one great granddaughter, Anya.

The funeral is Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Jimmy Sutton and Bro. Jerry Decker.

Burial follows in Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville.

Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continues Tuesday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
