He was born on October 22, 1962, in Newfoundland, Canada, to the late Charles and Geraldine Barter Murphy.
He faithfully served in the United States Navy from 1980-1983.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Teresa Murphy, James Murphy
He is survived by his wife, Susan Ball; siblings Daniel Murphy (Gail), Catherine Murphy.
A Graveside Memorial Service with Navy Honors will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff on Friday, July 31st at 10:30 am.
