Through hard work and dedication, the business grew into a fleet of trucks. In 1968, Jake moved his business to Elizabethtown, where he continued to build a successful career.
Jake was also a longtime member and president of the Shriners Club. He was a devoted Catholic man whose faith was an important part of his life.
Later in life, Jake retired to Florida before eventually returning home to Elizabethtown, where he was surrounded by family and the community he loved.
The Owen family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff and nurses at Helmwood Health Care for the loving care, kindness, and support they provided to Jake.
Jake leaves behind a lifetime of memories, a legacy of hard work and service, and a family who will love and remember him always.
