She was a member of Open Valley United Missionary Baptist Church and Goldenrod Homemakers Club. She was an elderly caregiver. She enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, decorating, and loved antiques. Charlotte was a very loving and giving woman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Cooper; her parents, Lucy Goben and Robert Klinger; and one brother, Kenny Goben.
Survivors include her children, Michelle (Andy) Baker, Michael Cooper, and John Cooper; four siblings, Donnie Goben, Ronnie Goben, Terry Goben, and Sherry Wright; six grandchildren, Tori (Eric) Hall, Krista (Konstantin) Grigoriou, Marianna Baker, Kaylyn (Eric) Hawkins, Madison Cooper, and Aaron Cooper; and five great-grandchildren, Ryder Cooper, Benton Perdue, Owen Hawkins, Oliver Hall, and Theodore Grigoriou.
The funeral is Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Open Valley United Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Doyle and Rev. Malcolm Doyle officiating.
Burial follows in Open Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continues after 11 a.m. Thursday at Open Valley United Missionary Baptist Church.
