Born on September 3, 1942, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, to the late Clarence C. and Ruby "Allene" Rogers Cox.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lloyd E Henderson, Jr.; daughters, Edwina Pennington, Mechonda (Hugh) O'Brien; grandchildren, Adam Pennington, Emilee Rivera, Aaron Pennington, Ashlee Reed; great-grandchildren, Jean-Luc, Joelle, Beau, and Layla Pennington, Ruth and Joachim Rivera, Ari and Audi Pennington, Canyon and Lucas Reed; sister, Barbara Ann Netherland; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 8, at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home, 306 College Street, Elizabethtown, with Dr. Daryl Pepper to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 7, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
