Cody Lee Elliott

He was born in Hardin County, Kentucky on December 24, 1994 to his parents, Russell and Rhonda Elliott.

Cody worked as a logger for Goodman Logging. Though he was a momma’s boy, Cody loved his little girl, Averie. He also enjoyed hunting, the demolition derby, and drinking his Busch Light.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Frances Lashley and one cousin, Bobbie Sue Crowder.

Survivors include his parents, Russell and Rhonda Elliott; his daughter, Averie Elliott; two sisters, Andrea (Brandon) Myers and Shawna (Jacob) Wooton; his paternal grandparents, Russell Elliott, Sr and Cathy Givans; his best friends, Trenton Goodman and Bailey Sisk; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Visitation begins at 9 a.m. on Thursday and continues until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the funeral service in Rough Creek Cemetery.
