Connie Jean Evans

Born on May 8, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, Connie was the daughter of the late Stanley Keith and Doris O'Brien.

Connie was a resident of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, where she was an active member of The Driven Church.

Her life was marked by kindness and generosity, always busy helping others as a thoughtful and kind-hearted caretaker.

Connie was a loving mother who treasured spending time with her family. One of her favorite pastimes was playing cornhole — and more often than not, beating her family with a proud smile and a playful boast. Connie's love, humor, and competitive spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. Connie also enjoyed playing Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Judy, Brian, Michael, Edward, and Jimmy.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Mearl Dwayne Evans; their children, Heidi (Jason) Clark, Christina Clark, Holly (Gary) Clark, Bobby Evans, and Kelly Evans; her siblings, Theresa, Gene, Patrick, and Eric; grandchildren, Bryce, Landon, Colin, Michael, Destiny, Gabriel, Sylvia, Brianna, Caden, Taylor, Kaysie, Taylor, Paige, Lucas, Lindsey, and Jacob; several great-grandchildren; a close aunt, Becky Hoffman; and a special friend, Janey Jenkins.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 11 to 3 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
