Damon George Board

He was born on March 21, 1942 in Breckinridge County to the late Ezra and Mary Prather Board.

Damon retired from Radcliff Concrete and Irving Materials Inc. after 46 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was full of life, always making people laugh. After retirement, Damon enjoyed tending to the animals on the farm and riding around town, visiting his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, David Wayne; his grandparents, George and Lena Dowell Prather; four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Anna G. Hobbs Board of Elizabethtown, KY; a sister, Hazel (Ray) Beal of Dayton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass is at 11 AM on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Burial follows in St. Martin Cemetery in Flaherty.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, May 27th at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continues after 9 AM Thursday until the time of mass at the church.
