Diana Marie Stuecker Reese

She was born on June 28, 1983 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to Jimmy and Marie Phillips Stuecker, where she was welcomed by her big brother, Ben.

Diana was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt, "bonus" mom to Leah, and friend to all. She was a 2002 graduate of Central Hardin High School and worked at French Bros. Cleaners. She loved her job, animals, and traveling. Diana was a member of the Iron Order Maidens.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 3 1/2 years, Matthew Palmer Reese; paternal grandparents, Florence and Nicholas Stuecker; maternal grandmother, Frances Capps Phillips; and maternal grandfather, Nels August Phillips.

Survivors include her parents, Jimmy and Marie Phillips Stuecker of Elizabethtown; one brother, Ben (Olivia) Stuecker of Sonora; one nephew, Lane Stuecker of Sonora; a step-daughter, Leah Turner of Shelbyville; her in-laws, Pat and Roger Reese of Shelbyville; one sister-in-law, Jessica (Eric) Smith of Louisville; two nieces, Riley and Aubrey Smith of Louisville; and a host of loving family members, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral is at 11 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Ben Stuecker officiating.

Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 18th from 4 to 8 PM and continues after 9 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
