Elsie Mae Strader

Elsie was a member of White Mills Christian Church. She enjoyed spending her time playing cards, doing puzzles, and had an impressive collection of porcelain dolls. Her favorite past time was sitting in the truck watching her cows. She absolutely loved her cows and named them all. Back in the day she loved to cook, especially making divinity.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Robert Stith and Mary Maxine Lasley Stith; loving husband of 51 years, Harold Strader; brothers, Bobby Stith, and Larry Stith.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dwayne Lewis, Gary Lewis (Inge), Mark Strader, Bill Strader (Teresa), David Strader (Robin); grandchildren, Jeromie, Beth, Nicky, Emily, Temple, Lola, Maria, Anna Grace, Daniel, Devon, Darcy, Roman, Amari; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ervin Stith (Violet), Albert Stith, Michael Stith (Trina), Don Stith (Judy), Shirley Goodman (CT), Mary Ann Shipley (Ron), and Brenda England (Jeff).

Visitation for Elsie will be on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 4pm – 8pm at Brown Funeral Home, 306 College Street, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 12pm with visiting starting at 9am all at the funeral home. Burial to follow at White Mills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to White Mills Christian Church building fund. (Checks be mailed to 231 Cave Road, White Mills, KY 42788).
