

She was born on July 18, 1949 in Hodgenville, KY to the late Edgar and Eunice Druen Underwood.
Evelyn was a charter member of Hardin County’s First Interdenominational Full Gospel Church where she faithfully served.
A beloved wife, mother and Mamaw, she devoted her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed gardening, watching the grandchildren, and everything homemaking.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James A. Foster, Sr.; daughter, Pamela Brey; great-grandson, Ben Trumbo; brothers, Charles Underwood, Dale Druen, Stephen Druen; sister, Theresa Rucker; step-mother, JoAnn Underwood; step-siblings, Melvin Druen, Margie Dennison, and Cecil Druen.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Gail (Dan) Murphy, James A. (Heather) Foster, Jr.; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren with one more on the way; sister, Patsy (Johnnie) Willett; and step-siblings, Jean Key, Kay Poynter, Ray Druen, Phyllis Neal, Clyde Roark, Paula Vanderwege, and Sheila Sherrard.
The family would like to extend a special appreciation to Evelyn’s hospice aide, Rhonda; and her nurse, Ashley.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 11:00 AM, at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Leroy Routt to officiate. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM and will continue Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
