Evelyn L. Geer

Evelyn, aka Little Mamaw, gained her angel wings on June 24th, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1931 in Cannelton, Indiana. She was 94 years young and resided at Robinbrooke Assisted Living. If you asked Evelyn how she was she was always, “GREAT”.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Allen L. Geer; her parents, Edgar and Lula Carter; her sisters, Marylou Carpenter, Ruth Schroeder and Lila Covey.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Elaine) Geer, of Rineyville and David (Laura) Geer of Louisville. 4 grandsons, Jacob (Tracy), Barrett (Angie), Austin (Rachael), and Lucas Mitchell. Great-grandchildren, Katlyn (Zachary), Paige (Cole), Isaiah (Mina), Madison, Tori, Carter, Brooks, Dylan and Macy. 2 great great-grandchildren, Jalen and Ezra Geer.

Visitation for Evelyn will be on Monday, June 30th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Chris Kriger at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY. Burial is to follow at Hardin Memorial Park.
