Frances Dianne Dukes

Dianne was born on December 7, 1944 in Elizabethtown to the late William and Lena Grimes Turner.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything. Dianne was a devout Christian and read her Bible every day. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for others, and “facebooking.”

Dianne also worked for many years as an administrator at Communicare and management at Collis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Dukes; and three brothers, Roger Dale Turner, Larry Turner, and Charles Turner.

Survivors include her three daughters, Tracy (Jerry) Lucas of Vine Grove, Beth (Mike) Bennett of Georgetown, Indiana, and Allyson Dukes of Elizabethtown; one brother, Harold Ray “Hoppy” Turner of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, David, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Kaileb, and Daviee; nine great-grandchildren, Keri, Carter, Izzy, Charlotte, Maggie, Emilia, Lacey, Eleanor, and Beau; and her dog, Orie.

The memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Pastor Steve Hill officiating.

Visitation will begin at 3 PM on Wednesday and continue until the time of service.

A private burial will take place in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
