Frances "Teanie" Irene Pence

She was a Hardin County native, a member of the Elizabethtown Church of Christ and worked alongside her husband in their family business, Howard W. Pence, Inc. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family and will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Harv and Cordia Harned Terry; 5 brothers, James, Richard, Virgil, Wilbur and Russell Terry and 4 sisters, Sallye Richardson, Clara Mae Showers, Mildred Scott and Stella Hugo.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Howard Wayne Pence of Elizabethtown; 2 sons, Michael (Patsy) Pence and David (Donna) Pence both of Elizabethtown; a sister, Ruby Nell Woosley of Elizabethtown; 4 grandchildren, Tonya (Sean) Reininger of Nashville, TN, Cory (April) Pence of Lexington, KY, Kyle Pence of Nashville, TN and Kendrick (Rue) Ammons of Elizabethtown and 8 great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be 10 am Tuesday at Elizabethtown Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4 - 8 pm Monday at Brown Funeral Home and after 9 am Tuesday at the church.
