She was a native of Hardin County and a nurse at Federal Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Sims; and her father, Norman Hoskinson.
She is survived by her children, Jessica Simler of Louisville and Joshua (Stephanie) Meador of Elizabethtown; mother, Joyce Smith; brother, Alan Hoskinson of Elizabethtown; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Brother Randy Logsdon officiating. Burial follows at Hardin Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
