She was a native of Somerset, KY and a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mayfield Brown in 2005; her daughter, Wendy Kay Hunt and her parents, Luther and Ollie Turner.
She is survived by a daughter, Melinda (Matthew) English of Rineyville; a son, Steven James Hunt of Cecilia; and 3 grandchildren, Micah English, Steven Bishop Hunt and Makena English.
Her funeral will be 1 pm Friday at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11 - 1 Friday at the funeral home.
