He was a native of Hardin County, served in the National Guard and was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Hall; his parents, Elbert and Pearl Edna Hines Hall and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Tom) Witten of Louisville; a sister, Laquita Joy (Isaac) Masden of Lebanon Junction; two grandchildren, Christopher Witten of Lexington and Michael (Sierra) Witten of Shepherdsville and a great grandchild, Dawson, due in February.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Valley Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
