James Gilreath

He was a native of Cloudland, GA and retired from AT&T after 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Harrison and Eula Farmer Gilreath.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Polston Gilreath; two sons, Jerry (Wanda) Gilreath of Cecilia and James Wayne (Barbara) Gilreath of Frankfort; one daughter, Judy (Barry) Jones of Shelbyville; Grandchildren, Rhonda Viers, Leslie Proctor, Michael Gilreath, Michele Lothery and Benita Jacobs; great grandchildren, Gavin Hunn, Raini White, Brooke Proctor, Jadyn Gilreath, Cole Gilreath, Daniel Deyne, Peyton Lothery, Taylor Jacobs and Gerald Jacobs and a great great grandchild, Xander Deyne.

Pallbearers will be Michael Gilreath, Chris Proctor, Daniel Deyne, Mark McNutt, Tommy Metcalf and Charlie Clark.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Chasteen officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and continue after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
