
He was a native of Bardstown and a member of Glendale Christian Church. He was a Pharmacist for Hardin Memorial Hospital and retired from Kroger Pharmacy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert Scobee and Edith Barnard Adams.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Joan Minton Scobee; two children, Mark (Sherry) Scobee of Nashville and Lisa Scobee of Elizabethtown; two step children, Chris (Tasha) Berry of Elizabethtown and Scott (Tonya) Hornback of Russell Springs; two sisters, Emma May Robertson of Cox's Creek and Betsy Ellis of Marion, AL and three grandchildren, Makaleigh Hornback, Maddie Brooke Berry and Landon Berry.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Glendale Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Gaines and Dillard Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Glendale Christian Church.
