James L. Vowels

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Lewis and Carrie Vowels.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; three sons, James Vowels, Chris Vowels, and Tre (Christina) Tucker; three daughters, Theresa (Joe) Tanner, Stacy Rupe, and Lesley Vowels; one sister, Marge Riley; three brothers, David (Marilyn) Vowels, Gary Vowels, and Donnie (Angie) Vowels; 16 grandchildren, Jessica, Anthony, Dylan, Savannah, Trevor, Jazlyn, Cambrynn, Brayleigh, Tiffany, Brooke, Eli, Natalie, Joanna, Arturo, Dallas, and Collin; 8 great-grandchildren; six nieces, and two nephews.

The funeral is at 10:30 a.m. EST Wednesday, June 23, at McGrew Memorial General Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Smith officiating.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. EST Tuesday, June 22nd and continues after 9 a.m. EST Wednesday the 23rd, all at McGrew Memorial General Baptist Church.
