Jane loved her family and spending time with her cousins. She enjoyed spending time with Kelly's dog, Oliver, as well as knitting and reading. She loved playing Bridge through the years and cherished those friendships. Jane was a member of Memorial United Methodist for most of her 91 years.
She was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky, but lived most of her life in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, where she met her husband and love of her life, Duke Burnett. They were married 71+ years, but together since her 8th grade year of school. Jane and Duke spent 8 years in Trigg County, Cadiz, Kentucky, where she enjoyed the friendships and the beauty of Western Kentucky.
Most importantly, Jane loved Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She gracefully encouraged many to always turn to prayer for hope and gratitude and to turn to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 10am to 1pm at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY. Funeral Service will be held at 1pm with a burial to follow at Hardin Memorial Park.
