To all who posted photographs, videos, and expressions of love and loss, my thanks as a family member who is unable to join you today in tribute to my young cousin, Jeremy.  My heart has been heavy, but many warm memories and thoughts stirred as I looked at this sweet collection again today, a wonderful collage of Jeremy’s life and interests.  I am grateful for the good memories.

Jeremy made my Starbucks drink every single day for several years. I am a regular at Starbucks and anytime he saw me coming through the line he automatically would grab my cup and make it because he always knew the exact way I wanted it made. You don’t realize how big of an impact people make on you just by daily interactions, but I will miss coming through and seeing him in the mornings before work!

It was impossible not to have fun when Jeremy was on shift at Starbucks especially in the evenings. No matter how busy or chaotic things got, he had this contagious energy that made work feel a little less like work—and a lot more like a good time. We will be missing you each and every day.

I remember him just playing and laughing he loved when we went outside. Such a sweet boy. Good memories of him. Prayers Jeanine 🙏🙏🙏

Jeremy was loved and cared for deeply from his family at Starbucks. Throughout the years I have worked there, I watched Jeremy go from the most unserious and goofy barista to one of the most organized and mature shift managers in the store. He was very good at his job and at what he did. There wasn’t one day that went by that I wouldn't crack a smile on a shift with him. He never let anyone on the floor have a bad without trying to make it better. He cared and took care of others more than he took care of himself. He would always give me the best advice on things and just simply make everything better. He was a very stellar person overall. Jeremy, you will truly be missed. Rest easy friend.

Jeremy was the big brother I wished for all my life. The past 4 years I have gotten to see Jeremy grow from the shy guy at mcdonalds to a jacked and handsome barista at starbucks. Jeremy is the main reason I pushed so hard in the gym. We spent countless hours working out together. If you look through our messages all it is about the gym. We laughed, we pushed eachother to our limits and of course we always argued about who was bigger (ill admit it was Jeremy). Through these past 4 years Jeremy went from just being my sisters boyfriend to becoming someone God placed to become my brother. I will never forget the lessons he taught me, the cringe jokes and his annoyingly wheezing laugh. Jeremy pushed me everyday to become a stronger person. I feel like him leaving was his final act of motivation for me to keep the progress going he left behind. I love you Jeremy and thank you for being the best man to love and care for my sister. I know one day we will be reunited in paradise. Ps. tell baxter I said hi

My Dear Cousin Jeremy, You were a delightful, enthusiastic little boy & I’ll always remember the fun times we had when your family visited CIncinnati-the Zoo, Aquarium, King’s Island (when you were squished on the Scrambler!). We also had fun with Cousin Ann in San Francisco-cable cars, Chinatown, Alcatraz (not sure you liked that too much!), & July 4th fireworks. My heartfelt condolences to all who loved Jeremy. Jeremy showed me what true love is and how to be cared for in the most special ways within the three years we were together. I will always remember our deep conversations, his playful jokes, and the simple, sweet moments—like him brushing my hair just to make me smile. Our last night together was perfect, and our final conversation is a memory I will treasure forever. Like he said that night, “monkey ship is forever.” Thank you for the best three years of my life. I waited 19 years to meet you, and I’ll wait 19 more. I will forever and always be your bonita esposa, and you will forever be my esposo guapo. Te amo por siempre, Pollo, y mucho, mucho más.❤️

Jeremy was a good guy, i got to know him at starbucks and the gym. He would ask questions of me about training since i was a personal trainer.  Ery sad to lose such a great young man.

Jeremy was not only my best friend, but a huge inspiration in my life. Every memory with him was full of joy and laughter. With the constant jokes and efforts to make everyone smile and the times we played video games. I was happy to have him come back to my life after not seeing each other since middle school. Will be missing you brother, I’ll be keeping your silly attitude and remember you until we meet again.
