John was known to love fishing, and he absolutely adored his 4 dogs who will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lucille Hood.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 11 years, Tina Hood; children, Johnny Hood (April), Sarah Hood; step son, David Masden (Bethany); grandchildren, Abbigail Hood, Britney Steen, Ella Grace, Hailee Uitich, Alison Masden, Jamie Masden, and Jaren Masden.
Visitation for John will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 9am – 1pm at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Funeral Service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home with a burial to follow at Eastview Baptist Cemetery in Eastview, KY.
