

John is remembered with deep respect and gratitude as a kind-hearted and beloved presence in the lives of those who knew him. Throughout his years, he carried himself with steady warmth and consideration for others, leaving an enduring mark through the care he showed and the love he gave.
For many in the Glendale area, John was known for his work as a grain hauler. In that role, he served his community with reliability and dedication, earning appreciation from the many people he helped through his hard work.
John was a former skydiver, a pastime that reflected an appreciation for life’s adventures. He also loved wildflowers, finding joy in simple beauty. Above all, he loved his family more than anything, and that devotion remained at the center of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Rose Lee Meredith.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Meredith, of 44 years; five children; fourteen grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; two brothers, Dennis & Daniel Meredith; one sister, Rebecca Meredith; his mother & father in-law; one sister in-law; one brother in-law; and many more family and friends who loved him dearly.
