Judy Lynn Allen Campbell, 71 of Summitt, went to her heavenly home on August 27, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of those who meant so much to her. Judy was born on March 16, 1955, in Ashland, Kentucky, to Homer and Emelie Allen. She was a 1973 graduate of Boyd County High School and began her working career at Ashland Oil. In the Christmas season of 1976, Judy met the love of her life, Jerry Campbell. Jerry proposed to Judy with daisies, her favorite flower, and the two were married in Ashland on April 23, 1977. Together, they shared 33 years of marriage. Judy left eastern Kentucky to begin a new life with Jerry on their farm, where they built a home filled with family, love, and countless memories. Jerry preceded her in death. Judy attended White Mills Christian Church for the past 38 years. She began volunteering as the “Popcorn Lady” on Fridays at Lynnvale Elementary before being hired as an instructional assistant. Judy dedicated 25 years of her life to Hardin County Schools, serving at Lynnvale and Lakewood Elementary schools. She cared deeply about the children she worked with and took pride in the many lives she touched throughout her years in the school system. Family was the center of Judy’s life. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and extended family, and she especially treasured the time she spent making memories with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Jerry, Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Emelie Allen; her sister, Rita Cornette; and her brother-in-law, Gary Cornette. Judy is survived by her daughter, Melissa Dover (Robert); her son, Adam Campbell (Jessica); seven grandchildren, Sydney, Brady, Noah, Carter, Carson, Sawyer, and Madilynn; and her special niece, Alyson Cornette. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Judy’s life was defined by her love for her family, her dedication to others, and the memories she created with those she loved. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort knowing that she is now reunited with Jerry and has gone to her heavenly home. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her
