She was a trauma nurse at Hardin Memorial Hospital before retiring from Ireland Army Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Yates; her parents, Mark F. Falkovich and Mable Wallace; a brother, Mark S. Falkovich; and a sister, LaDonna Falkovich.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Jennifer) Yates of Sunfish and Eric (Terri) Yates of Vine Grove; two grandchildren, Evynne Yates and Sean (Danisha) Yates; and one great-grandchild, Nova Yates.
A Memorial service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church.
