She was born in Louisville, KY to James Edward and Nora Alice Orr and attended Elizabethtown Community College and the University of Louisville. Bettie was a strong Christian, spiritual woman, and a beloved mother. She formerly worked for EDS for 5 years, was a substitute teacher for several years and worked for over 20 years at the Movie Palace where she was lovingly known as the music ticket lady.
Bettie was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Alicia Enos.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Greg Stapleton and a grandson, David Enos.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. on Monday at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
