Karen Sue (Raub) Williams

She was preceded in passing by her parents, Nicholas V. Raub (Gladys) and sister, Shirley Riordan.

She never met a stranger and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel seen, welcomed, and loved. The same was true for any stray animal that crossed her path, she always found room in her heart and home for those in need. Her kindness and compassion, both for people and animals, were at the very core of who she was.

She was a vibrant, God-fearing woman with a smile that could brighten any room. She saw the world through a lens of kindness, grace, and understanding that many of us can only hope to achieve.

An amazing teacher for many years, she impacted countless lives. The lessons she taught extended far beyond the classroom, teaching by example what it meant to be kind, generous, and selfless.

Here to cherish her memory is her husband; Michael Williams, children; Lori Karsek (Mark), Rachel Williams, Leslie Williams, grandchildren; Michael, Kayla, Emma, Daniel, Jackson, along with two great grandsons; Cameron and Kaden. Sister Linda Raub from Cecilia, KY and brother Nicholas V. Raub, Jr. (Sheree) from Elizabethtown, KY, nephews; Joseph Raub (Jaci) from Indiana, Joe Perez, from Texas, niece Linda Sue Butcher (John) from Texas.

We are left with so many wonderful memories, so much laughter, and so much love. While her passing was unexpected, the mark she left on this world will never fade. She will be dearly missed, forever talked about, and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Heaven gained a beautiful soul, and we were blessed to have her here with us.

Visitation will occur at Brown Funeral Home, 306 College Street, Elizabethtown, Kentucky on Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 1PM - 8PM. Bro. Ben Brown with close visitation with prayers beginning at 7:30PM.

A second Visitation will take place at St. Ambrose Catholic Church,609 E Main St, Cecilia, KY 42724 from 8:30 AM until the start of Mass at 10AM on Monday, June 29, 2026. Karen will be laid to rest within Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens following the services.
