

She was born on October 14, 1940, in Ft. Sam Houston, Texas, to the late Lenard Jesse and Opal Nichols Green. Karin was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Hodgenville.
She was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 39 in Radcliff, where she proudly served as Lodge Secretary for 44 years. Karin made history as the first female police officer in Hardin County and spent 25 years with the Radcliff Police Department before retiring. She then continued her service at the Hardin County Detention Center, retiring after 19 additional years of dedication to law enforcement. She will be deeply missed by her beloved Bunco Girls, her car club friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in passing by her husband, Charles W. Turner; her first husband, J.E. Cralle; and her son, Brian Neil Cralle.
She is survived by her step-children, Scott Turner (Joanie) and Sandy Kidd (Larry), both of Hodgenville; three step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and her special cousin, Rachel Miller.
Memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, and will resume on Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM. She will be laid to rest following the service in Hardin Memorial Park.
