Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Ricketts

Ken was born on August 29, 1948 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana to the late Floyd and Dorothy Ricketts.

A proud veteran, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW, DAV, and American Legion. He was a member of Gilead Baptist Church. He loved to keep busy; boating, fishing, golf, gardening and bee keeping. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he will be missed dearly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Jr. and Marvin.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dianne Ricketts; sons, Chad (Kari) Ricketts, Eric (Shelley) Ricketts; grandchildren, Austin, Seth, Tyler, Megan; siblings, Jerry Ricketts, Sharon Ricketts, Kathy Hatch.

The Funeral with military honors will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, on Friday, August 21, at 10:30 A.M. with Jessie Sterling Hall to officiate.
