She was preceded in death by her mother, Renata Ritter and a brother, James Ritter.
She is survived by her husband, Carroll Whitmer of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Peggy Whitmer and Tiffany Whitmer; twin sons, Anthony Whitmer and Curtis Whitmer; two brothers, Richard Ritter and Michael Ritter; and eight grandchildren, DeShaun Whitmer, Ayden McFadden, Anthony Whitmer Jr., Nathaniel Whitmer, Kai-Lan Whitmer, Alani Whitmer, Kadence Whitmer, and Ayvrie Whitmer.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
