
Linda was an accomplished artist whose life’s passion was horses and dogs. Her artwork can be found in dog periodicals, breed books, published a yearly calendar, painted commissioned pieces and presented pieces at art shows. She was a breeder of Siberian Huskies, Australian Shepherds and American Eskimos, with Champions in Breed, obedience and agility. She was involved in the establishment of the Siberian Husky Club of Florida before relocating to Massachusetts in 1996, an active member of the National Club and performed dog rescues. Her love of dogs carried over to opening a small dog food business. She owned and showed Arabian and Miniature horses and loved a good trail ride.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Kelly; her parents, Lois and Owen Huntington; a sister, Susan Wall.
Survivors include two daughters, Laura Hicks (Joseph) and Donna S. Carpenter; one brother, Owen Lee Huntington (Cheryl); five grandchildren, Brandy and Lindsey Hatfield, Kayla Hammack, Molly Hicks and Nicholas Carpenter; two nieces and one nephew.
The family has chosen cremation. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
