Lorene Harris, 99, passed away on August 23, 2026. Born July 6, 1927, Lorene will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude for a life marked by a kindness that brought comfort to those around her.
Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Dare Harris; a son, Bob Harris of Vine Grove KY; one grandson, Justin Ray Pullen of Elizabethtown; a brother, Vernon Coyle of Dallas TX;
She is survived by a daughter, Marcy Pullen of Elizabethtown Ky; and sister, Geneva Risinger of Southlake TX. and a great grandson, Austin Pullen.
Lorene gave her time as a volunteer at the Helmwood Nursing home, offering care and presence in ways that mattered. She was also a devoted member of First Christian Church, where her kind-hearted way of being were felt and appreciated by many.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. At Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the Funeral Home.
