Loretta Mae Payne

She was a native of Jefferson County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Payne, Jr.; her parents, Louis Marvin and Beulah Lee Compton and a sister, Roberta Spatz.

She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Basham of Rineyville; four sons, Johnny Payne of Rineyville, Jackie Payne of Vine Grove, Gary Payne of Elizabethtown and Terry Payne of Cecilia; one brother, Marvin L. Compton of Breckinridge County; one sister, Sherry Nelson of Rineyville; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Chasteen officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
