Born on November 10, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, Louis lived a life defined by service, family, friendship, and quiet strength. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, spending part of his military service in Japan during the Vietnam conflict. Louis found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved horseback riding, Chinese food, reading the daily newspaper, trips to Atlantic City, welcoming friends into his home, and, above all, spending time with his family.
Louis is survived by his daughter, Karen (Steven) Hudes; his son, Eric (Melissa) Green; his beloved grandchildren, Andrew, Hayley, Kelsey, Matthew, and Mason; and his cherished great-granddaughter, Lyra, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his devoted VA caregiver of the last four years, Passion Williams, whose compassion, dedication, and friendship meant so much to Louis and his family.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, the memories he created, the values he instilled, and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Louis's family will forever cherish the time they had with him and will honor his memory by carrying forward the love, humor, and devotion to family that defined his life.
