Marty was one of my first friends when I moved to Louisville. We worked together and we because not just friends but family! He loved Jesus and helping others. Marty you will be missed!!!

After my son had a massive heat stroke playing football, Marty was the one who confirmed medically He was sound and was patient and kind and explained the radiological images of his brain.  Our whole family was grateful for his expertise!

Marty- a pleasure to meet you and you will be missed.  Enjoyed your  giving and treasured the way you always were  “pouring you into” what ever you were doing or sharing.

A true  “ MacGyver” at heart.

Marty worked at Pathways when I was a patient there.  He was always nice, friendly and helpful.  Years later, I had to have an x-ray on one of my legs at HMH and he took the x-ray.  I felt comfortable with him since I knew him already.  Sorry for your loss.

You loved dressing up and always played along when we would scare you in the call center.  You always had a kind word to say to everyone and would do anything you could for someone in need. I can still hear you whistling down the hall. So many fond memories that you've given us over the years.  You will be truly missed. Until we meet again my birthday twin!! 💔

The time I shared with Marty was short but very sweet. I remember meeting him for the first time and thinking “wow this guy is funny”. 

   Times like these are never easy, but I hope the wonderful memories shared with him will help ease the pain. 
  
  It’s not easy saying goodbye to someone who was loved so much by so many. 

  I hope everyone finds the strength to push through this.

My sweet cousin Marty. Cousins are some of our very first best friends. We may grow up and sometimes part, but we always have a close, similar, familiar and a DNA bond forever. I am so thankful that our communication opened up again over the last 10 years or so. I will cherish every memory, every message, every visit and every hug. You said to me “,Death  it really is a simple thing”. My heart says different. Rest in peace, sweet cousin. Enjoy your parents again love cousin Kay.

Thank you for all you taught me, all the tunes you filled the imaging hallways with, all the talks we had, and all laughs and smiles. You truly were one-of-kind & will be missed by many!

I have never met a man so dedicated to his profession as you Marty! Giving 110% all the time!

I still remember our chats and can still see you peak your head out of the MRI door and hear you yell down the hall at me to come here so you could show me something on an MRI or quiz me on it. I will forever remember what a syrinx is and what it looks like even though I don’t do MRI. I remember the day you brought in your box of Stompers from your childhood after your mother had passed and I saw a side of you that you kept more private. I remember how much you loved to sing and whistle and how you would repeat one song over and over and drive me bonkers… Wrecking Ball will forever remind me of you! I remember how you were always talking about all the projects you were going to do after work and how you always helped out your neighbors or anyone in need. I can’t count how many times you helped with flat tires or anything that needed fixed at work.

Marty, you always went all out for every Halloween/holiday & we could tell how much fun you had dressing up and made sure everyone else had fun too! You were serious and professional when you had to be, but you had a fun and playful side that I’m glad I got to see. Halloween was always fun with you Marty! My favorite was you as Captain Hook and me as Tinkerbell. And you as Buddy the Elf for Christmas was a hilarious day!

I went to East Hardin with Marty, he was always a fun guy to be around at school and in a class. So sorry to hear of his passing, my thoughts and prayers are with all his friends and family.  RIP Marty💔🙏

I’m so sorry about Marty.  He was so kind…just a good guy. I always enjoyed talking to him whenever we’d cross paths. I know he’ll be missed.

Some of my funnest memories from high school through adulthood included Marty. He was one of the most genuine guys to ever walk the earth. My thoughts and prayers go out to his daughters and family.

Marty!! Gonna miss that grin!! Gonna miss you all together… never a dull moment or the share of laughter with you.. you made life fun ! The times we had at our grandparents.. oh my! The times I seen you.. when I moved back to Kentucky in 2021 and opened the new restaurant.. you came and visited.. it’s the little things my fellow cousin! I’m at a lost really why God thought you needed to come home at this time.. as we all know.. he knows best! There is a reason he needed you and I wish you the best in your new journey! 😁😇
