She was a native of Hardin County, a member of Needham Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the RNA, Royal Neighbors of America. She was a retired teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James Lee and Vivian Miller Oliver.
Survivors include her son, James Lee (Rebecca) Hicks.
A graveside service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11 to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home.
