

She was a native of Hardin County and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and their Altar Society. She was a 1953 graduate of Rineyville High School and sold goods at the Farmers Market.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ruby Newton; a sister, Rene Prather; two brothers, Leroy and Gene Newton and a daughter-in-law, June Moore Brangers.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas B. Brangers; six children, Regina (Mike) Miller of Clarksburg, WV, Jerry Brangers of Owensboro, Sam (Judy) Brangers and Tony Brangers all of Elizabethtown; Leo (Carol) Brangers of Rineyville and Ann (Terrill) Sebastion of Colorado Springs, CO; one brother, Ricky (Rhonda) Newton; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Lincoln officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continue after 9 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home.
