Mary Margaret Taber

She was a native of Hardin County, a member of Fairfield Baptist Church and retired from Jim Beam Distillery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Taber; her parents, Charlie and Margaret (Love) Grimes; a daughter, Nina Maddox; a brother, Carlos Grimes; and a sister, Madeline Absher.

She is survived by her children, Greg (Sunny) Jones of Louisville, Dennis (Karen) Taber of Elizabethtown, Denise (Phillip) Winchester of Cecilia, and Renea (Lee) Wathen of Cecilia; a brother, Ruhl (Wanda) Grimes of Stephensburg; three sisters, Mildred Stillwell of Star Mills, Rosie Tate of Hillview, and June (Lee) Ashlock of Glendale; grandchildren, Eric Jones, Amanda Carmin, Dewayne Maddox, Jeremy Winchester, Stacey Camp, and Jacy Howell; and 3 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Brown Funeral Home. Burial follows in Jefferies Cemtery.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Monday and continues after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home,
