Mary Vivian Walden

She was a member of Gilead Baptist Church for 43 years and taught school for 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ella Prichard Elliott.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Walden; two daughters, Elannette Baker (Donnie) and Stephanie Mackey (David) all of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren, Robby Ash, Clarissa Mackey, Sawyer Mackey, and Alexandra Mackey; and two step grandchildren, Kali Buchanan and Brandt Evan Baker.

The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Steven Hadden, Dan Durham, and Sam Hinkson officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Christian Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday and continue after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
