
She was a native of Etown and a member of Northside Baptist Church and a former member of Stithton Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kenneth Laha, Sr.; her parents, Elmer and Mable Edwards Peppers and two siblings, Margie (Bud) Hoyle and Billy Peppers.
She is survived by 2 sons, Kenny Laha of Lexington and Rick (Kathy) Laha of Prosperity, SC, 1 daughter, Valerie (Eddie) House of Crestwood, Ky, 2 brothers, Donald (Natalene) Peppers of Hodgenville and Ronnie Peppers, 2 sisters, Loree (Don) Robertson of Pekin, IL and Carolyn Brannon of Etown, 5 grandchildren, Brandy Laha Horton, Loree (Nick) Marsh, Jennifer (Kent) Brown, Emily (Scott) Gerlach, and Natalie (Daniel) Lewis, 11 great grandchildren, Christian, Chelsea, Ryan, Ray, Kate, Nicholas, Sara, Spencer, Mason, Lola, and Mila, 2 sisters in law, Ruth Laha of Louisville and Pat Greer of Hodgenville and Darlene Peppers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be Monday, May 9 at Brown Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Dr. Kevin Roberts officiating with burial following at Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 8 at Brown Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 pm and continuing Monday after 9:00 am.
