Paula Faye England

Paula was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, caregiver, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Donny England; her daughters, Donna Buchanan, Melissa Stevens, and Kelly Hammontree; her son, Christopher England; her grandchildren, Jordan Buchanan, Megan Buchanan, Austin Stevens, Carter Stevens, and Taylor Stevens; and her cherished great grandchildren, Amelia “Millie” Stevens and Apollo Stevens.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Greer; her mother, Wilma Jean Greer; her sister, Cathy Greer; and her “baby” England.

Paula lived her life with kindness, faith, and joy. She was a natural caregiver and helped many people throughout her life. She was passionate about gardening and delighted in watching birds from her yard. Known for her warmth and hospitality, she loved cooking for family and friends – her butterscotch pie was a treasured favorite. Paula never met a stranger; she welcomed everyone with open arms and an open heart. Her devotion to her family and her steadfast Christian faith guided her through life, and she trusted fully in the Lord. Paula’s love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, on Tuesday, September 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Wednesday, September 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the official service. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman.
