Robert Lee Grubbs, a devoted and beloved individual, passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on March 30, 1952, in Council Grove, Kansas, Robert was a resident of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
Robert honorably served his country in the Vietnam War, demonstrating his dedication and commitment. In his personal life, he found joy in fishing and hunting, pursuits that brought him great happiness.
He is preceded in death by his father, Evert Grubbs; his mother, Delena Grubbs; his sister, Sharon; and his nephews, Mark and Jerry Bailey.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Grubbs; his children, Edward Harshfield, Joseph Harshfield, and Amy Grubbs; his sister, Mary Prohaska; and eight cherished grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, on October 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm. Robert's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
